His Excellency recognized the winners of the competitions and Tournaments of the day.
THLady Hara Kikumatsu was awarded a Silver Comet for her skills in dying silk and linens, sewing Japanese garb, and her leadership of the Baronial Sewing Guild. Scroll by Lady Rose O’Tierrany.
Master Ishiyama Gen'tarou Yori'ie was invited into Court and awarded a Gold Comet for his service as an officer of the barony, serving as Baronial Web Minister and leader of the Baronial Woodworkers' Guild. Scroll by THLady Gesa von Wellenstein.
His Excellency then summoned Master Kieran MacRae from behind the throne and praised him for his skills upon the Heavy Weapons List, and so awarded him an Iron Comet. Scroll by Lady Nichola Beese.
Baron Brandubh called forth Li Chang and praised his skills in Archery, Fencing, and Heavy Weapons, making much of his own gear and so awarded him an Iron Comet. Scroll limned by Master Ishiyama Gen'tarou Yori'ie and scrivened by THLady Rachel Dalicieux.
Lord Ronan O'Conaill was called into court and His Excellency praised his works as Archery Marshall and work for the Chatelaine’s Office. Thus was His Excellency pleased to award Ronan a Gold Comet. Scroll by Mistress Arianna of Wynthrope.
His Excellency then sought the attendance of Lord Alfonso de Santo Domingo. He thanked Lord Alfonso for his service as Regional Archery Marshal, organizing events and recruiting at the local colleges, and so awarded him a Gold Comet. Scroll by Lady Rose O’Tierrany.
Master Jussi Laplein was then called forth and His Excellency recognized that even though Master Jussi lives outside of the bounds of the Barony, he still is a regular attendee at the Baronial Heavy Weapons Practices training new fighters in the Barony, and serving as a sparring partner for the youth of the barony, for this Jussi was awarded a Comettus Amicus.
